Agency Power’s Intercooler Duct Cover for the Can-Am Maverick X3 is a product that all X3 owners will want to be equipped with! This simple design change can greatly benefit your UTV’s performance and efficiency. By design, intercoolers work by taking the air flow from the outside to cool the hot air inside the intercooler parts. Getting more air flow to the intercooler helps with this process. This is why you will see automotive and off-road aftermarket users trimming up bumpers or grills to improve air flow. In the Can-Am X3 intercooled models, the air is directed to the intercooler with a cover that features ducts/scoops right behind the rear seats. These inlets on this cover feed the top side of the intercooler the fresh air it needs. Using the same location and improving the size of scoops Agency Power has created an OEM replacement product that is stylish and a great way to increase air flow to the intercooler.
The Agency Power upgraded intercooler duct cover increases the center scoop from 1.5 inches to 4 inches tall and each side scoop from 1.5 inches to 2 inches with all keeping a 4 inch width. The intercooler duct cover increases the inlet air flow by over 40% from 32 cu in to 46 cu in. Made from a durable ABS plastic similar to the stock unit, it features a smooth black finish. The intercooler duct covers feature the AP logo and are designed to fit over the stock intercooler or the Agency Power intercooler. For those that want to customize further, the cover can be easily primed and painted by your local paint shop. Each kit comes with everything needed to snap into place. Upgrading the intercooler or adding an intercooler to the Can-Am X3 120HP and 154HP models is one of the best upgrades and necessary to get the most power from the vehicle. For those that have the 154HP version, the only difference is the fan between the 2018+ 172HP version which you can buy an upgraded one and bolt on. For those that have the non-intercooled version, you could buy the upgraded fan and the Agency Power larger intercooler, but there is no way to bolt them together. Unfortunately Can-Am does not sell just the shroud. Now, Agency Power has our Intercooler Fan Shroud to be used with the stock intercooler or the larger Agency Power intercooler to give you a full bolt-on solution.
The Intercooler Fan Shroud is made of aluminum construction with pem nuts and hardware for easy fan installation. Each shroud is finished in a black powder coat for durability. Shroud mounts to factory intercooler or Agency Power Upgraded Intercooler. The Agency Power Intercooler Fan Shroud combined with an upgraded fan kit will allow you to be able to increase cooling to get the most power out of your Can-Am X3 Turbo.

Steel lug studs are pressed into the spacer to provide reliable lug nut engagement without the chances of the lug nut seizing on the stud. Agency Power has teamed up with Outerwears to design Pre-filters for the Agency Power UTV filter line up. Pre-Filters are designed to enhance the efficiency of any performance or exposed air filter. Agency Power during the design of UTV intakes knew a Pre-Filter was going to be requested by owners. Rather than keep you guessing on what fits Agency Power decided to team up with the best in Outerwears. By giving them our unique filter sizes they were able to design Pre-Filters to fit tight and correctly on the filter. The 6 inch round x 12 inch tall was made to fit the Agency Power Polaris XP Turbo, XP 1000, 900S, 1000S Cold Air Intake Filter as well as the Textron Wildcat XX Intake.
The Pre-filter is constructed using Outwears proprietary polyester mesh with uniform micron openings and treated in an optional hydrophobic water-repellent process. The mesh is UV resistant and filters debris down to .005”. The Pre-Filter is shatter proof in freezing temperatures and resistant to heat up to 450 degrees.
The mesh material is puncture resistant and has an elasticity characteristic which allows the threads to return to the original position if they have been impacted or shifted. The Outerwears manufacturing process incorporates a welded seam for strength and to reduce potential failure points in the material. The top seam utilizes specialized thread and cording to reinforce durability of the top. Pre-filters are designed to deflect the damaging debris, which clogs air filters, compromising peak air-flow and horsepower. The Pre-filter also extends the time between filter servicing intervals reducing costs and increasing convenience for you. “Agency Power” logo printed onto the Pre-Filters.

Can-Am X3 upgrades are endless, but making sure your power plant is operating at peak performance is always crucial to having a great time! The large hose that connects from your intercooler to your throttle body is the Can-Am Maverick X3 charge tube also known as a boost tube. There are several reasons why upgrading this tube is important. The factory tube is rubber and when under pressure, this tube can expand. Expansion of this tube can alter the pressure and efficiency. When you are increasing boost pressure, it is common for the factory rubber boost tube to pop off leaving you dead in the dirt until you can reconnect the hose. This is the same principles that we have applied for years in high performance turbocharged vehicles.
The silicone tube is 5mm thick or 4ply making it extremely strong compared to the OEM tube. This newly designed boost tube is pressure tested to 85psi meaning it will never fail you for stock or extreme boosted vehicles. To ensure a very secure system, we supply these boost tubes with high end T-bar clamps. The upgraded boost tube is designed to work with stock or aftermarket intercoolers. One main advantage of this tube is we have added a blow off valve port. The blow off valve port allows you to add a blow off valve to the turbo system which helps alleviate boost pressure from the system when you get on and off the throttle. Any 1 inch flange blow off valve can work such as our own Agency Power vent to atmosphere kit. Agency Power Boost Tubes come in Black Silicone with the Agency Power Logo. This boost tube is designed specifically for the Can-Am X3 Turbo RR.
