The center console is a full carbon fiber OEM replacement for the factory black plastic piece. It features cup holders and cutouts for the shifter trim and grab handle. With the early production of big brake kits, many owners were finding issues with brake knockback. Agency Power solves this problem with the knockback correction kit which consists of a spring to lightly push the piston against the brake pads.
Brake knockback is when the piston retracts into the caliper, due to vibration, and leaves a small space between the piston and brake pad. The issue with this is owners don't have an immediate brake feel when depressing the brake pedal. Some will have to pump the pedal once or twice before getting full braking pressure. To combat this issue, a spring can be placed behind the piston to maintain light pressure against the brake pads.
When heading into a corner at full speed, it is important to have immediate brake engagement to efficiently slow down. With our nearly yearlong testing of different braking concepts and products on the market, we found it absolutely necessary to do a 4 wheel brake kit. With the engine in the rear and how off-road suspension works, typical automotive designs will not produce the improved braking performance the X3 needs. A Big Brake Kit for the Can-Am Maverick X3 is the modification you never thought about but absolutely need! If you are a Can-Am X3 owner, you already know that the brake pedal is soft and these high horsepower machines do not stop like they should. After extensive testing, we have engineered a brake kit that is a direct bolt-on, provides a proper balanced brake system, and aesthetically looks amazing behind the wheels.
All brake components are manufactured right here in the USA in conjunction with one of the leading performance brake manufactures. This brake system was designed specifically for the Can-Am Maverick X3. With our nearly yearlong testing of different braking concepts and products on the market, we found it absolutely necessary to do a 4 wheel brake kit. With the engine in the rear and how off-road suspension works, typical automotive designs will not produce the improved braking performance the X3 needs. Our calipers are a 2 piece construction that has built in “ears” to mount to the wheel carrier. Removing the need for additional brackets and spacers like other companies may use, gives the Agency Power caliper an extremely rigid advantage.
